Montrose, PA. History was made at Warren Lodge # 240 F&AM on the evening of April 13th, when Brother A. Ralph Taylor, Past District Deputy Grand Master, returned to visit his home Lodge in Montrose, and to confer a Master Mason’s Degree on Brother Jan Bogaard Quackenbush.
Brother Taylor conferred his first Master Mason’s Degree in 1948, but this evening marked his 125th conferral. In honor of this momentous event, over forty of his Masonic brethren were present at the meeting, including 12 brethren who had received their Master Mason’s Degree from Brother Taylor over the years. To quote the Worshipful Master, Brother Lenthel C. Drachler, "having 12 brethren here means that 113 Brethren were missing".
Brother Taylor, who is 92 years old, served as District Deputy Grand Master of the 15th District from 1972 until 1980. For the past 13 years, Brother Taylor has resided at the Masonic Villages at Elizabethtown.

50 Year Service Emblems

May 11th 2005 Brother Nathan A. Foster, District Deputy Grand Master, and Lenthel C. Drachler Worshipful Master, presented Brothers Richard J. Nasser and William A. Davies (From Kingston Lodge No. 395) with their fifty-year service emblems.
Nov. 9th 2005. Being Past Master Night the Worshipful Master honored all of the Living and deceased Past Master in the Lodge's normal Ritualistic work. The Worshipful Master also recognized living and deceased veterans from all of the wars. He did a reading from a short talk bulletin. (you can read this Veterans 2005 ) He also did something that was taught to him in his many years of military service, where he had all veterans that were in the Lodge Hall stand up and he went and shook ever veterans hand as stated "Thank You".
In closing the lodge that night the Worshipful Master brought back a lost tradition where he called upon Past Masters to close the Lodge that was lost some time ago.
