Sept. 5th 1917 The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania adopted and restored "The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania War Relief Fund’ for all members to do a voluntary contribution of not less that $2.00. This will go to the members of the jurisdiction in active service their Wives, Widows, and Orphans and such other as may be in need.
Dec 1917 The Lodge made a motion and approved to buy a US Flag and a Service flag and install the same in the Lodge Room.

The Great World War began August 6th 1914. Our Country remained neutral in the gigantic struggle between the many nations, until the violation of all rules of citizens that out National Congress declared war on April 2. 1917, and the United States joined the cause of the European allies, rendering thereafter enthusiastic support through men, Munitions, naval equipment, and supplies, until the singing of the armistice on Nov 11th 1918.During these years the following Brother’s served our country.
